About Amaryllis
I write time-slip romance where love refuses to stay in its lane—or its century.
My books blend Victorian romance with modern-day stakes, impossible choices with swoon-worthy romance, and emotional depth with just a touch of magic. If you love stories where the heart wants what it wants (even across time), you're in the right place.
The Heartbound Chronicles is my signature series—each book delivers a complete, satisfying romance while building toward something bigger. Think: standalone stories you can devour in one sitting, but with an underlying mythology that rewards readers who stick around for the whole journey.
Before I started writing romance, I was an award-winning fashion designer, a screenwriter, and a small business owner. These days, I'm a proud Army wife, mom of two, and I live in a legitimately haunted Victorian mansion in the Midwest. (Yes, really. No, I don't recommend it. Yes, it's great for inspiration.)
When I'm not writing about star-crossed lovers defying time itself, you'll find me at comic cons across the U.S., talking books, meeting readers, and probably buying way too much book merch.

We Flew to Scotland on a Whim and Got Handfasted at Lallybroch
Two days after deciding to go to Scotland, my husband of 23 years (at the time/ now we are at 26) were handfasted at Lallybroch during a once-in-a-lifetime private Outlander event—complete with kilts, bagpipes, a dram of Sassenach whiskey, and a kiss as the sun set over the castle.
TV Guide Called Me 'Supernatural Royalty' (100 Conventions and Counting)
For the last 10 years, I've traveled with the cast of Supernatural to fan conventions across the U.S. and Canada—making emotional support pillows, connecting with readers, and selling my first novels. I hit my 100th con in September 2026, and TV Guide even featured me in their 20th anniversary issue. (Yes, that's me with Jared Padalecki in the photo.)
I Went to Acting School During COVID...
In Another Country (OK It Was Canada)
During the pandemic, I published my first four novels, moved to Vancouver, got accepted into acting school at 45 (surrounded by classmates aged 18–22), earned my diploma, and even landed a movie-of-the-week role—all before moving back home to chase the next adventure. Because why not?
